Nathaniel Bautista, M.D., M.P.H. completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. In recognition of his leadership skills, he was selected to the position of Chief Resident. He received his Masters of Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a fellowship in Occupational Medicine from the University of California, Irvine.

He brings more than 18 years of occupational medicine experience to High Desert Medical Group's Occupational Medicine Center. His experience includes not just clinic expertise, but also clinical and case management.

His unique work style includes direct contact with the employer representatives, insurance adjusters, and other interested parties. His understanding and interpretation of job descriptions encourages an early return-to-work philosophy whenever medically feasible. This knowledge assists in a reduction of workers' compensation costs to the employer.

Dr. Bautista continually stays current on Cal-Osha regulations, ergonomic standards, and all other subjects related to occupational medicine. He has a supportive and knowledgeable staff in the Occupational Medicine Center at High Desert Medical Group.

He is available to consult with you on workplace issues to assist you with injury prevention and/or reduction of injuries and illnesses.
