Eric Oak has been an integral part of High Desert Medical Group's leadership for many years. Throughout his tenure with High Desert Medical Group, Dr. Oak has been pivotal in the development of the Disease Management Program, which are structured treatment plans to help reduce the symptoms associated with chronic disease and help patients manage their chronic condition and feel better. Working with UCLA, he and the HDMG team have developed a Respiratory Rehabilitation program, the first of its kind in the High Desert, marking High Desert Medical Group as the premiere Health Care Provider in the Antelope Valley. Currently, Dr. Oak oversees the Ambulatory Care departments of High Desert Medical Group including: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Specialty, Disease Management and Education. He currently serves as Director of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for HDMG and the Clinical Pharmacy services department.

Dr. Oak earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland, and Bachelor of Science in Management at the University of California, San Diego; he is recognized by the California Board of Pharmacy as an Advance Practice Pharmacist, and also recognized by the NCBDE as a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Dr. Oak seeks to give back to his community and actively serves as a mentor in an urban outreach ministry focused on at-risk youth, juvenile offenders and youth in foster care. He believes that children should have a strong role model and encourages and guides his mentees to be successful in school and helps them as they go through challenging life transitions.
